Superb French armoire from the art nouveau period of the 1920’s in the style of Henry van de Velde’s work. Solid wood and veneer structure, it is composed of two hinged doors, one of which with a full height mirror, opening on a panderie on the right and on shelves on the left. There is also a suite of three drawers and a secretary with a multitude of storage spaces. The curves and rounded lines of the legs, pediment and the whole cabinet are typical of the art nouveau style. Very nice vintage condition (see pictures).
