Rare bas-relief by the French ceramist Jean Derval, dating from the 1990s and titled “The Abduction of Europa” (signed and dated on the back). The bas-relief is composed of several interlocking glazed ceramic sections depicting a woman on a bull, surrounded by vines and a seascape. In very good vintage condition, with three small chips on one side (see photos).
