Impressive sideboard from the 1940s by Italian designer Pier Luigi Colli. Double-bodied sideboard in burl wood and brushed oak. The upper part of the piece consists of storage space with sliding doors and a small secretary desk in the center, below which are three trompe l’oeil drawers and, in the lower part, two large additional drawers and two compartments on each side. High-quality craftsmanship with superb decoration on all the doors depicting galloping horses and ships at sea. Very good vintage condition, with slight signs of age (see photos).
